The Ahern Brothers | Jan 21, 2018

It’s been a phenomenal six months for The Ahern Brothers (Josh Rennie-Hynes & Steve Grady). Following an incredible response to their debut album release in June, the duo have toured without rest throughout Australia and New Zealand, selling out a string of shows as well as spending over a month on the road with Australian music legends Tex, Don & Charlie.

Today they announce their final tour as The Ahern Brothers for the foreseeable future, with both artists taking time off in 2018 to work on their new solo albums. The ‘Until Next Time’ tour is their biggest run of headline shows to date, taking in beautiful and unique venues across the country.

They will also be making appearances at some of Australia’s most iconic festivals, kicking off the tour at the Cygnet Folk Festival in Tasmania in January, before wrapping it up at the Nannup Music Festival in WA and the Port Fairy Folk Festival in Victoria in early March.

For the first time ever The Ahern Brothers will be taking a full band on the road, promising a bigger show while still maintaining the striking harmonies and ‘careworn acoustic guitars’ (Rolling Stone, July ‘17) that the duo are best known for.

Early bird tickets are on sale now for all shows until Friday 1 December, with all early bird ticket holders in the running to win a massive merch pack including The Ahern Brothers signed album on vinyl and CD, a limited edition baseball tee and an A0 signed poster.

Adam Eckersley & Brooke McClymont | March 16 & 17, 2018

Presented by CMC & KIX Country Network

Hot on the heels of the release of their acclaimed debut duo single “Train Wreck”, much loved Australian country music couple Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont will hit the road next year to tour their self-titled Album “Adam & Brooke”, which will be released on February 9th through Lost Highway/Universal Music Australia.

The Central Coast based husband & wife duo performed a series of acoustic shows throughout June and July and felt so inspired that they decided to expand the project into an album and a more extensive run of shows. The first announcement of the ‘Highway Sky Tour’ dates will take in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as well as regional dates and more dates will be announced in the coming weeks. The tour is presented by CMC and the KIX Country Network, Australia’s only 24 hour national country radio network.

Fans can expect to hear songs from the album along with a selection of favourites from the extensive catalogue of both The McClymonts and Adam Eckersley Band. “The great thing about the acoustic shows is we get to tell lots of stories about the songs and we crack each other up when we’re onstage.” Adam commented. “The shows feel like we’ve got a bunch of our closest friends in our lounge room and there’s songs that make people cry and songs that make people dance so there’s something for everyone.” Brooke added. “We can’t wait to hit the highway with this show.”

Wallis Bird (Ireland) | Dec 15, 2016

Irish dynamite Wallis Bird's expressive vocals and driving guitar rhythms are being compared to artists like Ani DiFranco, Fiona Apple or the young Janis Joplin. Her exceptional voice moves from delicate whispers to explosive cries in a heartbeat, inciting rousing sing-a-longs or spellbound silences.

Now based in Berlin, in the last 7 years Bird has played over 600 shows in Europe and won two Irish Music Awards (Meteor award). Every performance is characterised by an almost startling passion; one that frequently leaves Bird breathless and her acoustic guitar strings shredded to pieces. Her refreshingly honest, self-effacing manner has endeared her to audiences worldwide.

Now with her new album, Home, Bird is finally making her first ever appearance in Australia with a tour that includes Woodford, Cygnet and Illawarra Folk Festivals, plus east coast headline shows.  Unmissable.

With very SPECIAL GUEST : Tullara .

Adam Eckersley & Brooke McClymont | Dec 3, 2016

Early December will see husband and wife, Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont, team up for a very rare and special North Coast tour as a duo. "We love playing music together" Brooke says "but rarely get the opportunity to during the year" she adds.

The two have both had a huge year in their own careers with The McClymonts (10 times Golden Guitar winners, 2 times ARIA winners) celebrating 10 years together with their sold out "10 Years Of Hits" tour and just this week they released their first single "House" off their up coming album titled "Endless" which will be released on January 13th 2017.

Adam has also been busy with the Adam Eckersley Band (2 time Golden Guitar winners, 1 time APRA Country song of the year winner) having just returned from their first European tour where they played 22 shows in 34 days across 5 countries, "it was a great experience, we went over with no expectations but we were blown away by the response we received" Adam said.

So after what has been a hectic year on the road, the two love birds (who recently celebrated 7 years married) have decided to hit the road together to bring us an intimate night of music, "we love playing these up close and personal acoustic shows" Brooke said "we can have a good laugh and chat with each other and the audience too which is great fun" adds Adam.

So if you are a lover of songs and good times don't miss this very special performance on Saturday 3rd December - Pelican Playhouse Grafton.
